The 2021 M.L.S. Weech Book Cover of the Year Pool Is Live!

The 2021 M.L.S. Weech Book Cover of the Year Pool Is Live!

Greetings all,

Fifty-two weeks is a long time.

Fifty-two weeks, 365 covers, 64 polls have all led us here to the 2021 M.L.S. Weech Book Cover of the Year Poll.

We have 12 beautiful covers for you to choose from. If you’re looking for a bit more data on what they are and why they are in the tournament, please feel free to watch this YouTube video:

While you’re at it, would you be kind enough to subscribe to my channel? It’s free, and it really helps show support for an indie guy like me.

You can vote for your favorite of the 12 right here.

This contest will go on for three weeks, and then I’ll name a winner.

There won’t be a 2022 competition. I think my channel needs a bit more time to really make all the effort and stuff worth it. I may revisit the idea if my channel gets more traction, but this is it for the next year at least. The channel will go in a different direction. Once I have a sense of what sort of content viewers are looking for, I’ll build from there.

As always, thanks for reading,

Matt

Presenting the February Book Cover of the Month! and Week 2’s Winner for March

Greetings all,

We’re now just two weeks away from having our final Book Cover of the Month Contest. We’re going to name February’s winner as well as the Week 2 winner for March.

So let’s get to it.

The 2021 M.L.S. Weech February Book Cover of the Month is …

Outcast by Louise Carey. Honestly, this was a very competitive month, and all four covers deserve a ton of credit. But, there has to be a winner. Outcast is our eleventh entry into the Book Cover of the Year bracket, where it will face ten even better covers.

The Week 2 winner for the 2021 M.L.S. Weech March Book Cover of the Month is …

Lost in the Waking Well by John Notlad was a beautiful cover with brilliant text placement. It joins The Starless Crown in the final bracket for March.

You can vote for Week 3’s cover right here.

I’d appreciate it if you stopped by my YouTube channel and gave it a like and subscribe. It really goes a long way to helping me and supporting these authors and artists.

Matt

Announcing the 2021 M.L.S. Weech January Book Cover of the Month! Vote for Week 3 of February!

Greetings all,

As I type this, we are officially only two book covers away from naming the 2021 M.L.S. Weech Book Cover of the Year! That means we can announce the January Book Cover of the Month!

The 2021 M.L.S. Weech January Book Cover of the Month is …

The Tinder Box by Kate Elliott was such a unique cover. That uniqueness paid off as it beat out three other great covers to earn a spot in the 2021 overall bracket. Congrats to them!

The February competition is already halfway done, too. The Week 2 winner for the 2021 M.L.S. Weech February Book Cover of the Month Winner is …

The Atomic Ballerina by I.O. Adler was just amazing from top to bottom. Some may argue the art could be more “realistic,” and I suppose they’re right, but this cover is just wonderful! It joins Rising Shadows in the overall bracket for February.

You can vote for Week 3’s cover right here.

I’d appreciate it if you’d hop over to my YouTube channel and gave it a like and subscribe. It not only helps me out, but it also supports the authors and artists of these titles.
